These white Akoya pearl stud earrings are made from 9ct yellow gold. The Akoya pearl is sometimes referred to as cultured pearls. Unlike other stones which their weight is measured in carats, pearls are measured by mm and these Akoya pearls measurements are 7.5mm to 8.0mm. All our pearl earrings are stamped with a UK hallmark of 375 in accordance with the hallmarking act of 1973 which states all gold jewellery over 1.0g needs to be hallmarked by one of the 4 official assay offices in the UK.
