Refund policy

We offer free worldwide returns, refunds and exchanges on all of our products for up to 30 days after you've received your item.

To return or exchange your jewellery all you need to do is request a returns form and we’ll arrange for the return of your item, free of charge.

Please email us at with your name and order number. We’ll email you back with a return form and further instructions on how to return your item to us.

Your item must be returned in the same condition as when you receive it. The item must also be unmodified, with all packaging and tags attached for us to be able to process your refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. All customised and engraved items are non returnable or exchangeable. If any other item is not returnable you would be contacted prior to us processing your order.

We understand that there are exceptions to our returns policy, and we aim to ensure transparency in our dealings with you. Please take note of the following exceptions to our returns policy:

  1. Outsized Rings: While we happily accept returns for all unworn Ladies and Men's rings in sizes J to Q, sizes outside this range are considered 'outsized' and cannot be returned for refund or exchange. However, we offer a ring resizing service for a small charge.
  2. Wedding Rings: Our wedding rings, regardless of gender, are ineligible for returns.
  3. Eternity Rings: Some eternity rings from our 18K white gold, yellow gold, or platinum ranges cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  4. Engraved Items: Any items that have been engraved are not refundable.
  5. Customized Items: Custom made items and those that have been amended are not eligible for refunds.

Please note that you will be informed of any exceptions before confirming your order, ensuring full transparency and understanding. At David Ashley, we prioritise your satisfaction and want you to make fully informed decisions before purchasing from us.

We offer a wide variety of eternity rings, with approximately 40 finger sizes available for each style. To meet such diverse demands, most of our eternity rings are individually crafted based on your order specifications.

Given the personalised nature of each ring, we regret to inform you that we cannot provide refunds or exchanges for eternity rings.

Once we receive your jewellery back and have had the chance to unpack and inspect it, we will immediately issue you with a refund.

Refunds can take 3-5 working days to show up on your card, bank or PayPal balance, this is not down to us, it simply depends on how long it takes for your card company to process the refund.

Please note that you must print and include the returns form that we send you with the jewellery that your sending back.

If you don’t included the returns form inside the package, we won’t know who’s returned the item therefore resulting in delays whilst we locate the order.

We always issue refunds back to the same tender used when purchasing your item.

We advise all our clients to get their ring sizes checked before purchase, but if you happen to purchase a ring and it turns out to be the incorrect size we are usually able to resize the ring for you. This service has a standard cost starting from £39.00. The exact cost will vary according to the amount of adjustment and style of the ring.

Please note certain rings, such as full eternity rings cannot be resized (returned or exchanged).

Here at David Ashley we offer you a lifetime manufactures guarantee on all of our jewellery. If you believe there are any defects or bad craftsmanship in the making of our jewellery, you may return it to us for inspection. If we determine your product is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or, if we deem appropriate, replace the item.

If we determine that your product is not damaged by a manufacturing defect then we will notify you and let you know if repair services are available at cost.

If for any reason your item arrives damaged or defective please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order and we will arrange a free return so we can rectify the item purchased or issue you a full refund once the item is returned back to us. Please note that customised or bespoke items cannot be refunded.
